Office Logistics/Holidays

  1. What are your office hours?

Our office hours are as follows:

Chesapeake office: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Hampton office: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Newport News office: 8:15 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
Norfolk office: 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Richmond office: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Virginia Beach office: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Williamsburg office: 8:15 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Our offices are open Monday through Friday at all seven locations. Our virtual office is open 24 hours a day. Firm holidays include New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following it, and Christmas Day.

  2. In which building are you located?

Chesapeake office: Located on the 1st floor of Lake Center I
Hampton office: One-story, L-shaped, brick building with off-white trim
Newport News office: Located on the 4th floor of One City Center
Norfolk office: Located at 150 W. Main Street on the 21st, 20th, 19th, and 18th floors
Richmond office: Located on the 14th floor of Two James Center
Virginia Beach office: Located on the 7th floor of the Pavilion Tower
Williamsburg office: Located on the 3rd floor of the SunTrust Bank building

  3. Where is the best place for me to park when visiting your office?

Chesapeake office: On-site parking
Hampton office: On-site parking
Newport News office: On-site parking
Norfolk office: Park in the West Plume Street garage (from Waterside Drive (which turns into Boush Street), make a right on Plume Street, garage entrance is on your immediate right); we have reserved spaces on the 2nd floor of the garage for K&C clients, bring your ticket to our receptionist for validation.
Richmond office: Park in the James Center Complex, bring your ticket to our receptionist for validation.
Virginia Beach office: On-site parking
Williamsburg office: On-site parking

  4. How long is the drive from the airport to your office?

Approximate drive times from Norfolk International Airport:
Chesapeake office: 30 to 40 minutes
Hampton office: 35 minutes
Newport News office: 45 minutes
Norfolk office: 20 to 30 minutes
Virginia Beach office: 30 to 35 minutes
Williamsburg office: 1 hour

Approximate drive times from Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport:
Chesapeake office: 50 to 60 minutes
Hampton office: 15 minutes
Newport News office: 10 minutes
Norfolk office: 40 minutes
Virginia Beach office: 50 minutes
Williamsburg office: 30 minutes

Approximate drive time from Richmond International Airport:

  9. Should I speak to the Human Resources Director first or should I submit my resume?

  10. Do you have an intern program for staff personnel? Whom should I contact?

Kaufman & Canoles does not offer an internship program for staff at this time.

  14. I have a personal injury claim. Can you handle my case?

Depending on certain facts and circumstances, Kaufman & Canoles may handle your personal injury claim. We evaluate each claim on a case-by-case basis.
