Kevin is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Public Finance Group. His primary focus is serving as counsel to parties in bond financings for hospitals, retirement communities, educational institutions or other non-profits, and in connection with public infrastructure financings and public-private partnerships. In addition to his finance practice, Kevin has considerable experience in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, and the preparation and negotiation of commercial agreements.

  • Regularly represents continuing care retirement communities in public offerings and private placements of tax-exempt bonds
  • Serves as bond counsel for several regional hospital systems
  • Serves as bond counsel to state and local government issuers in connection with general obligation, lease revenue, and utility system bond transactions
  • Serves as bank counsel in direct loans to local governments and 501(c)(3) organizations
  • Advises clients on interest rate swaps and other derivative transactions
  • Advises clients on Municipal Advisor Rules and other regulations applicable to municipal bond market participation
