Scott is Co-Chair of the firm’s Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Alliances Practice Group, Co-Chair of the Manufacturing & Distribution Industry Team, Chair of the Business Taxation Group and a member of the Commercial Section. As a former in-house general counsel, his practice focuses on providing outside general counsel services to his clients. He concentrates in commercial transactions, corporate law and governance matters, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, commercial finance, private equity transactions and business tax issues.

  • Represented national real estate focused private equity fund sponsor in multiple acquisition and divestiture transactions, minority investments and mezzanine and preferred equity financing arrangements involving commercial office projects and multifamily residential real estate projects
