Wade is a partner in the firms Hampton office where his practice focuses on litigation, including family law involving divorce, child custody, and child support.
- Represent both men and women in all aspects of contested and uncontested divorce cases including child custody and visitation matters associated with a divorce as well as complex equitable distributions of marital assets and debts upon dissolution of marriages
- Advise clients on how to handle multi-jurisdictional child custody or child support disputes and ensure that matters are resolved by the appropriate jurisdiction
- Represented numerous individuals in crafting premarital agreements designed to protect their premarital assets, limit their obligations and liabilities to a prospective spouse in the event of divorce, and help them avoid the expense and difficulty associated with divorce litigation
- Successfully defended against attempt to transfer jurisdiction of a highly contested custody matter to Virginia when the matter was originally pending in the state of Texas
- Negotiated and drafted numerous settlement agreements between spouses and assisted them in avoiding the cost and expenses of expensive divorce litigation by settling those aspects of divorce cases which were able to be resolved
