Amy L. Harman Receives YWCA Women of Distinction Award
Norfolk, VA – April 2010 – Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. is pleased to announce that Amy L. Harman is the recipient of one of the 2010 YWCA Women of Distinction Awards. The Awards celebrate outstanding women who have made significant contributions to the South Hampton Roads community by demonstrating a commitment to the YWCA's mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.
Ms. Harman is a partner in the firm’s Norfolk office. She earned her B.S.B.A. and J.D. degrees, cum laude, from the University of Richmond.
Ms. Harman is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Strategies, Lender Representation, and Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Alliances Practice Groups. Her practice primarily focuses on commercial real estate development, leasing, and finance transactions.
