K&C Member Selected Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation
Norfolk, VA - January, 2006 - The law firm of KAUFMAN & CANOLES is pleased to announce that GUS. J. JAMES II was selected by the Virginia Law Foundation to its Fellows Class of 2006. This honor is conferred on lawyers who have distinguished themselves in the legal profession, not only by service to the Bar but also to their communities, and is limited to one percent of the active lawyers in Virginia.
MR. JAMES is chairman of the firm and a partner in the commercial section of the firm’s Norfolk office. His practice includes advising clients on commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital financing.
