Kaufman & Canoles Announces New Partners (2008)
Hampton Roads – January 2008 - KAUFMAN & CANOLES is pleased to announce that JOHN M. BREDEHOFT, ALEXANDER W. POWELL JR., JAMES J. REID and MARY ELIZABETH SHERWIN have become partners of the firm.
MR. BREDEHOFT is a member of the firms labor and employment section in our Norfolk office where his practice includes a variety of employment law matters such as harassment, discrimination, and non-compete issues. He received his A.B. from Harvard College and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
MR. POWELL is a member of the firms tax section in our Williamsburg office where his practice includes advising clients on estate planning and administration matters. He received both his B.A. from the University of Rochester and his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law.
MR. REID practices in the litigation section of the firms Newport News office where he focuses on real estate litigation, construction litigation, and title insurance matters. He received both his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Richmond.
MS. SHERWIN is a member of the firms litigation section in our Norfolk office where her practice focuses on medical malpractice law. She received her B.A. from Wellesley College and her J.D. from The College of William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law.
