Marina Liacouras Phillips Named to State Air Pollution Control Board
Hampton Roads, VA – September 2009 – Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. is pleased to announce that Marina Liacouras Phillips was recently appointed by Governor Timothy M. Kaine to the State Air Pollution Control Board. Her term commenced on July 23, 2009 and concludes on June 30, 2012. The State Air Pollution Control Board is responsible for adopting, amending, or repealing Virginia’s environmental regulations.
Ms. Phillips is a partner in the Norfolk office of Kaufman & Canoles, practicing in the areas of environmental law, real estate, and mergers and acquisitions.
